How do live auctions work?
Place a bid on any live auction. When the timer expires, the highest bidder wins and the winning payment method on file is charged automatically.
What is the one-time Auction Pass fee?
First-time bidders pay a one-time, non-refundable $1.50 verification fee. After verification, you can participate in future auctions without paying another Auction Pass fee.
When will I be charged?
The verification fee is charged when you first register to bid. The winning bid amount is charged only if you win an auction.
What happens if I win?
Your payment method on file is charged automatically. The item is shipped within 24 hours to the default address saved in your account, so check that address before bidding.
Can a last-minute bid extend the auction?
Yes. Bids placed near closing can extend the timer to discourage last-second bid sniping. Review the current auction rules before bidding for the applicable timing.
What is the minimum next bid?
The auction page displays the current minimum permitted bid. Always follow the amount shown in the bidding form.
What happens if the winner's payment fails?
If payment cannot be processed, the auction may be awarded to the next highest bidder. Keep your saved payment method valid and up to date.
Can I follow an auction?
Yes. Open the individual auction page and use “Follow this auction” to receive email notifications about auction updates.
