The Dragon Ridge stands out immediately with its cyberpunk style, featuring mechanical scale-like elements that run along its body like the spine of a futuristic creature. It blends organic inspiration with industrial detailing, creating a piece that looks as dynamic as it feels in hand.
Part of Proxy EDC’s Cyborg Soul series, the Dragon Ridge is built around a prybar form factor, integrating practical EDC functionality with interactive fidget mechanics. Along the front, four articulated “spine” segments can be triggered via a sliding button, flipping open and closed in sequence. The motion is smooth, tactile, and surprisingly soothing, often compared to combing through fur, but with a crisp, mechanical edge.
The button itself also doubles as a press mechanism, adding another layer of interaction through subtle clicks and feedback. Between the flipping scales and the press action, it delivers a multi-sensory experience, both in feel and sound.
On the back, a double-layer clip system adds utility and modularity. The default setup includes a bottle opener clip and titanium track pieces, with compatibility for SF clips through vertically aligned mounting points. A built-in paracord hole allows for additional customization, whether as a lanyard, bead attachment, or even worn as a pendant.
At the top, the functional prybar head reinforces its EDC roots, making it more than just a fidget. It’s designed to be carried, used, and interacted with daily.
The surface features a plated, stonewashed aging finish that gives it a worn, vintage texture. Each piece carries slight variations, adding to the overall character rather than detracting from it.
Highly unique in both form and function, the Proxy EDC Dragon Ridge combines mechanical play, modular utility, and bold design into a piece that feels as alive as it looks.
