The Razor V1 by YEDC is a multifunctional haptic fidget designed for expressive, high-impact play. Its elongated form supports four distinct interaction styles, making it one of YEDC's most creative and unconventional designs.

The primary mechanism combines POM beads and magnets to simulate the feel of a mechanical slider while maintaining a smooth and durable action. In addition to standard push-and-slide play, the Razor can be flipped in a continuous loop, pressed to trigger a rebound action, or swung for a forceful impact sensation. These varied play methods give the piece a uniquely energetic and "stress-relieving" character.

The design emphasizes both functionality and aesthetics, with an included paracord lanyard that enhances grip and is essential for the swinging play mode. While the original version introduced a highly innovative concept, certain aggressive movements could occasionally cause the mechanism to jam.

The Razor V1 stands out as an ambitious design that combines multiple tactile experiences into a single versatile EDC piece. It is important to know that there was a design flaw that would hinder the slider function after some use. This issue was addressed in v2.
